Crocoite

Crocoite is composed of lead(II) chromate, it is toxic, containing both lead and hexavalent chromium.

It used as a yellow pigment in paint, resulting in the color Chrome Yellow (as on school buses in the United States). Due to the toxicity of both the Pb and Cr, the pigment was discontinued. By varying the associated elements and pH, Cr can also produce red and green pigments
